The software controls the vision screener, and records the screening result. The stored results can then be compared against existing Job Standards or against Job Standards that have been created or modified to meet a specific job. The program is available in Microsoft Windows 3.1/9x/NT format, is Y2K ready and uses Microsoft Access 2.0 as the database.

System:   The computerized vision screening system consists of a Titmus 2a Vision Screener, an Encoder (interface device between your computer and the vision screener) and the Optimum for Windows software.

Software: Titmus Optimum for Windows software (Latest version is 2.1.7).

Features of the software

  • Identify incorrect answers on test screen itself for TNO test, eliminating memorization

• Ability to add comments during a test

• Control vision screener from computer

• Eliminate manual scoring using record  forms

• Record test results on the computer screen

• Compare and interpret test results to preset Job Standards

• Export test results in ASCII format

• Ability to create your own Job Standards

• Use standard Landolt ring pattern, TNO test  pattern or Snellen Letters to test visual acuity
